Real life. Real family.
Engineered with love.
I’m a full-time engineer, a mom who never misses a game, and a wife figuring out how to do it all — without pretending it’s always graceful.
Hi, I’m Jennifer — and yes, I really did get an engineering degree from Georgia Tech. I spend my days leading large-scale operations at one of the world’s biggest aluminum manufacturers, overseeing R&D programs, managing teams, and solving complex problems before most people have finished their morning coffee.
Then I come home — and the real work begins.
“Being an engineer means I approach everything with data, structure, and a process. But family taught me that the best plans rarely survive contact with a teenager who forgot his cleats.”
My son is heading into high school this fall — a two-sport athlete who plays basketball and football with every ounce of energy he has. Keeping up with his schedule while managing a demanding career is its own kind of engineering challenge. One I take seriously, and one I genuinely love.

This isn’t a perfectly curated lifestyle blog. It’s a real look at how I navigate a career I’m proud of, a family I love, and a life that’s worth sharing. I’m not here to tell you how to do it perfectly — I’m here to share what’s actually working for me.
Over 15 years of experience leading technical and operational teams, with a mechanical engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. I’ve built programs from the ground up, led large R&D organizations, and spent more hours than I can count optimizing systems — both at work and at home.
